In recent years, political will and donor support have intensified South Africa's response to the HIV and AIDS epidemic and the growing number of OVC. The South African government instituted guidelines and dedicated resources to create and promote to grow and develop to their full potential. 

The organisation,s overall programmatic goals are to:

• Create and enabling environment for HIV and AIDS treatment readiness compliance and adherence,
• Strengthen care and support  of all those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and 
• Strengthen community mobilization in the the struggle against HIV and AIDS and involvement more men and youth in community initiatives.

Key principles of the project's OVC strategy re similar to their overall and include:

• Customisation of all inputs to effectively respond to the social needs of the community
• Assurance of full community participation and ownership
• Promoting of partnership and network with all community district and provincial stakeholders.

The project actively network with local government, business and NGO that are mainly OVC focused. Partnership with government ensure OVC are able  to access important assistance with school feel exemptions, social welfare grants, and nutritional support whilst NGO's provide vulnerable best practice information that the project can emulatein their own work. Network alsoheighten the likelihood that the project will remain sustainable in the future by creating a sense of corporation and community ownership.
